I became a professional cabinet maker in 2008 after gaining an advanced City and Guilds certificate with distinction for hand-crafted furniture making. I also won The Worshipful Company of Upholders 1st prize for cabinet making in the same year and was selected to be a licentiate of the Society of Designer Craftsmen. My work has since been selected for prestigious furniture exhibitions, including the Celebration of Craftsmanship & Design in Cheltenham, and 21st Century Furniture — The Arts and Crafts Legacy in London.

I live and work on the edge of the magnificent Brecon Beacons National Park, with my wife, actress Joanna van Kampen (better known for playing Fallon in BBC Radio 4’s The Archers), and two wonderful children Sasha and Sophie.
